**🐶 What is Dog Reactivity? 🐾** coming to Comrie Dog Park . First session no dogs just humans. Wednesday 10th September 6.30pm. Drop Tracey or Jack In The Doghouse a message

Does your dog bark, lunge, or growl at other dogs, people, or objects? This could be **reactivity**, not aggression!

Reactivity is an overreaction to stimuli—often due to fear, excitement, frustration, or lack of socialisation. Some common triggers include:
⚡ Other dogs
🚶 Strangers
🚗 Cars, bikes, or loud noises

**Why does it happen?**
Dogs may react because they feel:
❌ Overwhelmed
❌ Frustrated (lead barrier frustration)
❌ Fearful or anxious

**What can you do?**
✔️ Identify triggers & avoid them when possible
✔️ Use positive reinforcement to build confidence
✔️ Train with distance & gradual exposure
✔️ Work with us on our next dog reactivity workshop.

Reactivity is **manageable** with patience and training! The next workshop is taking bookings now £125 for 5 sessios. . 💙

Unfortunately due to not enough bookings we will need to rearrange Hoopers. We will organise a taster session free of charge soon. So that you can come along give it a go and see if we can get a convenient time and dates for enough people to join us. Thank you for your understanding.
