Such a sweet and intimate ceremony when Rik from Finland married Ali from Scotland and their love of fantasy map making was symbolised perfectly through their hand-fasts which both had rose compass charms attached to! I love fantasy literature so it has been amazing to meet them both - Culdees has oodles of historic fantasy caché in its own right to be the perfect venue for their big day - every couple has their own painted and illustrated ‘brick’ on the wall for posterity the wall - magical 🌟

Weddings are SO photogenic and it’s easy to take loads of gorgeous pics - HOWEVER … for 2026 I’m going to focus on ‘just one thing’ I love most from each ceremony - quality >quantity vibe ! So here’s a wee snapshot from Charlie & Julie’s wintery February wedding . A Quaich was used to toast their wedding, it held their fav drink from a pretty teapot full of Peppermint Tea - which was just perfect 👌💯🤩 Reminded me of the pretty teapot from Beauty & The Beast 🫖
