Absolutely disgusting! 🤬

2 different households have just handed in 3 kittens (from the same litter) due to how poorly they are.

These people have paid almost £200 between them.
(No negative comments regarding this please, they feel bad enough)

The information given, is yet again, the same people and address we have been too on multiple occasions, when they have contacted us for help, to take their cats/kittens for different reasons.

However this person has used a fake name/facebook profile and claimed to be their "friend".

Claiming these kittens were 8 weeks old.
They weigh less than 500g each.
No bigger than 5-6 week old kittens.
They all have diarrhoea, fleas and worms.
Supposedly treated for conjunctivitis. Kitten pictured on the right says otherwise.

Something that annoyed me but made me laugh slightly, was a comment that was made to one of the people that handed them over, was "you aren't going to give them to a rescue are you, because they don't need rescuing"

And then there's the comment sent via the "friend/fake profile" when we were suggested to them to help take them.
What they really meant was, "we want the money and not give them away"

So many stories have come from this person regarding the cats they have acquired.
Last one we collected was a young female that they travelled all the way to London on the train for.

On top of all of this, they have private messaged a multitude of followers offering them these kittens, which we have been sent proof of.

Approximately 1 year old

Hope's owner sadly had to go into hospital, and the cats have been brought into our care.
We had Hope spayed back in September for the owner so she didn't have kittens along with 2 other females.
Hope loves to be picked up and cuddled.

We are only just coming to the end of May.

Yesterday saw us reach 303 (to be exact) cats/kittens handed in and born in our care. This time last year saw 94.

And of course, we shut our doors to intakes, but I couldn't just leave a kitten outside, in a mechanic yard giving birth in this heat.

What we have right now:

8️⃣ ferals.
Many young adults.
A couple of seniors.
4️⃣4️⃣ kittens handed in from various litters, including hand-rears.
3️⃣2️⃣ mum cats with 1️⃣3️⃣7️⃣ kittens born 🙀
Pregnant cats still waiting to give birth.

We are in desperate need of Purina One kitten biscuits, Whiskas kitten biscuits and Whiskas kitten wet food.

This is the one thing I absolutely hate having to do, but we have to prioritise the cats and kittens in our care.

It was around the same time last year that we had to do this.

However this year has been so much worse.

We still have pregnant cats, mums with kittens, kittens and colony cats still needing our help.

If you were offered a space, and you didn't take it, sadly your space is now no longer available.

Please contact other rescues or wait until we reopen our doors.

We have still got a mum and 5 due in, a dumped mum and 5 kittens, a litter of 4 born outside, 2 kittens and 2 pregnant cats, 5 cats from a household where the owner is in hospital.

The list continues.

Once our kittens and mum cats are ready to be adopted, and go off to their new homes, we can help then next ones needing us.

We appreciate all of the love and support you continue to give us, and hope you can understand the need to do this for now.
