After finishing our weekend walks, I thought I'd treat my own dogs to a Sunday roast in town. 🐾🍽️
We arrived, found a table, and started getting excited... only to be told there's no roast today because it's too hot to have the oven on! ☀️🔥
The dogs are now looking at me like I've personally cancelled Sunday dinner. 😒😂
So... what's for dinner instead then? Hmmmm

Woke up bright and early to take the moody bitch out for a forest walk before it gets too hot! 🌞🐕
We arrived at the forest at 5:30am and had the whole place to ourselves. Bella absolutely loved all the new sniffs, spent her time hunting squirrels and rabbits, and generally acting like she owned the place.
Of course, it wouldn't be a proper dog walk without a bit of mischief... Bella also attempted to roll in some horse 💩 before I could stop her! 🤦‍♀️😂
Safe to say she had a fantastic morning and is now thoroughly worn out!
🐾🌲 Early mornings might be tough, but having the forest all to ourselves made it worth it!

🐾 Pet sitting the moody bitch tonight... 🐾
She's already tried to hump my leg, bullied me into giving her belly rubs, and demanded treats within the first five minutes of arriving.
Wish me luck, it's going to be a long night. If anyone needs me, I'll be on the sofa being emotionally manipulated by a dog who is clearly the one in charge. 🤣

🐾 Thank Dog It's Friday! 🐾
We survived the heat this week! 🥵☀️
The dogs have enjoyed their early morning adventures, plenty of water breaks, shady spots and of course a few splashes wherever they could find them. 💦🐕
I'm not going to lie... I'm very glad to see a cooler forecast for next week! 😅
That means it's back to our normal forest walks, more zoomies, more sniffing, more muddy paws (probably), and much happier dog walker temperatures! 🌳🐾
Have a fantastic weekend everyone, and give your dogs an extra treat for being such good boys and girls during the hot weather. ❤️

Its the hottest day of the year..... im drinking beer 🍺 dogs are chilling 😎🐾
Meanwhile im sat here pretending this weather isn’t making me melt 🥵 its only going to last a few days so let's all enjoy 😉

In this hot weather please remember our wildlife will be struggling too 💔☀️
Birds, hedgehogs, foxes and other animals will all be searching for water, especially during these really hot days. Putting out a small bowl of fresh water in your garden, driveway or outside your house could make a huge difference 🦔🦊🐦
Just remember to top it up regularly and place it somewhere shady if possible 💧
It’s such a small thing to do but it could help save a life ❤️
