Over a year ago, I posted a Ring doorbell video showing a German Shepherd on an extendable lead charging across a road to attack a lady.
Since then, this same dog has been involved in several other incidents. It was seen off lead in the forest and attacked a lady who was out walking with her three young children. That incident was reported, and I understand the dog was placed under an order requiring it to be kept under control.
Sadly, yesterday there was another incident. A man walking in the forest was charged at by the same dog, which went for his face. He put his arm up to protect himself and was bitten. He has been left with a puncture wound, scratches, swelling and bruising and a break in his elbow. During the attack, the extendable lead the dog was on snapped.
If you walk on the Woodgate Estate or in the surrounding forest, please be extra vigilant and keep yourselves, your children and your dogs safe.
