The Branch which is run by volunteers elected each year runs the Coventry & District animal centre on Coundon Wedge Drive in Coventry. The Branch currently has four charity shops in Coventry to help cover the massive running costs of the branch. We need yo

🎉Successful adoption update🎉

Pluto came into our care around this time last year, pregnant and absolutely terrified of everyone and everything! She spent time in our foster care with her kittens and then moved onto her new forever home to get the love she deserves. Her new owners have worked well with her at a pace she is comfortable with and she is now thriving… as you can see🏡After being in her new home for 7 months now, she now has reached her maximum capacity and provides them with entertainment daily, aka sitting on their puzzles and flicking them about!🧩 All of the staff are so glad someone gave our girl a second chance and it reminds us on a daily, that there definitely is a person for every cat🩷

Would you like to give a temporary loving home to a rescue dog? Being in a home rather than a kennel is so beneficial to some of our dogs! It can help to improve their training/ behaviour, and gives them a routine. It really can make such a difference to their lives!
To become a fosterer you will need:

🌟To be able to drive/ have access to a car to come up to the centre.
🌟Be able to attend vet appointments at the centre.
🌟Have your own animals vaccinated & neutered.
🌟To upkeep their training plan.
🌟Live in around a 10 mile radius of our centre.

With kitten season approaching we are in need of fosterers more than ever! Pregnant mums and nursing mums benefit so much from being in a foster home where it is quiet and they feel safe. Kittens being able to grow up in a home makes the adoption process so much easier for them to thrive!😸

Meet some of our eligible bachelors who are currently looking for their forever homes!

Handsome Harry is our beautiful tabby boy who came into our care via inspector, Harry's interests include;
Getting fuss
Shouting nononono at other cats
Strolls in the garden
His dislikes include;
Other animals

Harry will need outdoor access and could live with children aged 8+

Junior!
Junior is our sweet but shy guy. His interests include;
Meowing when being stroked
Napping
Belly rubs!
His dislikes are;
Loud noises

Junior has lived with female cats before so could potentially live with another well matched feline. He will need outdoor access once he is ready and could live with children aged 10+

A huge thank you to Platform Home Ownership on for their generous donation of £400!

This will help us take care of the dogs and cats at the centre for approximately one day in terms of food and care.

Ryan Harris, Area Sales Manager at Platform, said: “It’s really important that our support for
communities goes beyond the construction and provision of our affordable homes.

“Animals play a huge part in all of our lives, and there are so many who rely on them – to be
contributing towards that support is incredibly rewarding.”
