Hi there, my name's Jessica and I'm the sole owner of Paws 4 Thoughts. I only ever groom one dog at a time which eliminates any stresses of a noisy/busy room filled with other dogs. I don't use cages of any kind, and I will give your dog the very best experience of a salon groom without rushing my work. I offer services from just a nail trim to a bath to hand strip to the full works. Feel free to ring me either for an appointment or just a doggy related chat.

Posting a little earlier this year to give everyone an opportunity to buy one as they went like hot cakes last year. My mother in law has knitted sooooo many red poppy brooches to which I then said how about some purple ones too? For those that are not aware a purple poppy represents the animal’s lost at war. So this year I have both red and purple poppies up for sale at £2 a poppy. ALL donations go straight to The Royal British Legion. They all have a little safety pin on the back to you can put it on your coat or jumper. Send me a message if you'd like one or pop by if your dog isn't due in for a groom anytime soon. You can buy as many as you'd like. My mother in law is on stand by to make more 😊❤💜❤💜😊

Due to massive inflation of electricity prices, this unfortunately will affect my grooming fees as I physically cannot take the wrath of the massive increase in bills to be paid. I consciously try turning things off when not using them but it's inevitable that our ongoing bills are likely to be sky high as more often that not I've either my clippers or dryers running and lights on constantly. I'm extremely sorry to do this as I know everyone will be struggling already with their own bills and I always feel so awkward when I do have to put up my prices. I just pray that come the end of the year the next predicted bill increase will just magically disappear. Some customers may already know about the groom fee increase but just incase you've missed the message or haven't visited recently I'm putting this on here. Thankyou so much for your continued custom, support and understanding. Jess x 🐶🐾

I'm seeing alot of these little nasties. Please check your dog over after going in fields or long grassy areas. In particular make sure you inspect inbetween their toes as that is the most common place where they can cause huge problems.
