Alex qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in June 2010 and brings over 16 years of experience, dedication and compassion to every patient he cares for.
He also holds a GPCertExAP (General Practitioner Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice), giving him advanced expertise in treating a wide range of exotic pets alongside our canine and feline friends.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys running, canoeing and exploring the outdoors with his dog named Misty. His energy, and enthusiasm is reflected in the exceptional care he provides every day.
We’re incredibly lucky to have Alex leading our veterinary team and look forward to our clients getting to know him and his passion for helping animals💙🐶

This is Marley. Yesterday was Marley’s birthday, he is now 12 years old!

Every visit, he chats away to us. Loudly and enthusiastically letting us know he’s there and ready for his appointment.

He sprained his poor paw, but doing amazingly well with his elaborate bandages done by our nurse Jasmine.

🚨 Missing Cat – Please Help 🚨

We are urgently trying to locate a missing cat in the Colchester, Maldon Road area.

🐾 Description:

* White and black coat
* Noticeable abscess on its face

If you have seen a cat matching this description, or have any information at all, please get in touch with Medivet as soon as possible. The cat may be in need of urgent veterinary care.

Please also check sheds, garages, and quiet hiding spots nearby — scared or injured cats often seek shelter.

Happy Friday!

It has recently come to our attention that, last minute, we have had a road closure to the entrance of our practice on Maldon Road. Where you would usually exit the car park, that is now going to be an entry and exit point. Please be careful and slow when approaching and leaving as it is a very low visibility.

We are trying our best to remedy this to make sure we are able to get access from Maldon Road again.
