Welcome to Rebecca Sheil – Pet Services & Dog Walking, my name is Rebecca, and I just wanted to tell you all a little bit more about myself.
I have lived in Boxted village for the majority of my life and am very grateful for this, having always been a very outdoorsy person. Having all the walks that Boxted alone has to offer on your doorstep is something not to take for granted, as well as being surrounded by other villages with stunning scenery too.
I have two dogs of my own who I adore, both being Huskies they have the biggest characters and that’s what I love about pets. They aren’t just a pet they are part of the family everyone has their own personality and quirks. Having always been an animal lover, I was lucky enough throughout my life growing up to have had numerous pets, Dogs, Cats, Chickens, Birds, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Pigs and Fish. For some reason we were know always as the family that took in people’s pets when they could, for whatever reason, no longer look after them. I was also fortunate enough to have friends who had horses, allowing me to learn how to take care of and ride them.
Having left my job in hospitality a few years back I was not sure what would be the next step for me. During this time, I began my first postgraduate degree study and started looking after my neighbour’s Dog and Donkey alongside my studies. I found a lot of enjoyment out of caring for their pets. It was then suggested to me that I pursue pet care further. Which eventually lead to gaining more pets to look after and the growth of this business. I have always found comfort in looking after animals and am very humbled by the people who entrust their beloved pets to be in my care. I completed my studies in May of last year and have since decided to make pet care my full-time job, that is how I am here today, offering my services, experience, trust, dedication and love to the care of your pets.
My main priority is for you to feel happy with who you are entrusting your beloved pets to. That you and your pets are comfortable with me. Before anything is booked in, I will arrange meeting you and your pets as a way to get to know me and see if I am the right fit for you both. I stay with your pets at your homes, so they are in their own environment. All the pets I care for, I look after with the same love and dedication I have for my own dogs.
I am fully insured, DBS Certified and First Aid Certified. I also have references I can provide if you require.
