🌸 Why Spaying Saves Lives 🐾
We’re sharing a story today to shine a light on something so important. ❤️
A beautiful female cat was found looking healthy and lovely on the outside, but she and her kittens were born outdoors. They were absolutely terrified of humans, hissing, hiding, unsure of the world around them. Sadly, this is so common for cats born outside without early human contact, and it doesn’t stop there.
Mum cat was quietly battling pyometra, a life-threatening infection of the uterus. If it hadn’t been for the kind lady who had been feeding her and noticed she wasn’t quite right, she likely wouldn’t have survived.
Spaying not only helps prevent litters that may struggle to survive outdoors, it also protects the health of the female cats. It can stop silent killers like pyometra before they even begin.
We know life gets busy, and everyone is doing their best, but if you’ve got an unneutered cat, we’re here to help with advice, support, and guidance. Spaying isn’t just about preventing kittens, it’s about giving each cat a safer, healthier life. 🐱💕
