We loved our visit from Vanity, this shaggy loveable 9 year old Otterhound, all 42kg of her!
This is a rare breed worldwide, currently considered more endangered than the Giant Panda so we were extremely honoured to have the pleasure of meeting her 🙂
Originally bred in Medieval England to hunt otters they possess webbed feet. When otter hunting was banned in the 1970s their role diminished and numbers dwindled significantly.
Isn't she just gorgeous 😍
