ng methods are positive and rewarding for both dog and handler, using Repetition, Association & Reward methods which is the foundation of all good dog training. Won't come back when off the leash? If any of these sound familiar and you would like help and guidance with any problems then don't hesitate to get in touch. I provide one to one training sessions which are tailored to your dog's individual needs. Prices are dependent on individual requirements, however one session is usually sufficient, providing you continue with my training techniques. I am fully insured and DBS certified. Meet Creed! Having been rescued by his new parents, this big boy came to me with a few issues.
Within the session we rectified his leash pulling and reactivity towards other dogs making walks far more enjoyable. As a reward for this structured leash work, long line recall training carried out to give Creed the freedom he needs and deserved!
One happy dog! Well done everyone. Keep up the good work!

Met young Milo last week, a miniature Schnauzer who was reactive and overzeaulous towards other dogs. We quickly established a leadership role, and put techniques in place to counteract any unwanted behaviours. No more pulling on the leash leading to calm, more controlled walks. Well done everyone!

Great session with Frankie the Labrador Retriever. Sadly Frankie didnt make the grade as a Guide dog for the blind, and developed some reactivity issues towards other dogs. Due to this, his owner lacked confidence in taking him to public places, in fear of bumping into dogs.
After doing some work with Frankie and losing the harness, his owner Carol was taught new techniques to counteract Frankies reactivity. Small changes make big differences! We then went on a relaxed walk around Chester park passing several dogs with no reaction or reactivity from Frankie.
Well done Carol. Keep up the good work!

Great session with Hamish, the 12 month old red Retriever. His owner came to me for help with leash walking. He constantly pulled forward and tried to dictate the walk to his humans. It didn't take long to establish a leadership role and put techniques in place to counteract Hamishes drive to pull forward. The foundations of recall were also worked on, as Hamish became easily distracted towards dogs and other outside infulences. His owners had to make themselves more valuable than whatever Hamish was over focusing on. By putting certain triggers in place and adding high value rewards, praise and touch, Hamish came back when called every time, making lead work, and off leash exercise far more enjoyable. Well done Sam and Jill. Keep up the good work!

Loved this little spaniel today! Lemmy came to me because her only issue was simply pulling her owners whilst on the leash. We lost the harness and flexi leash, and made some small changes which made a big difference!
Within ten minutes Lemmy was walking by her owners side with a soft leash and no pulling. Keep up the good work guys and enjoy your walks!

Big AJ the German shepherd came to me this week to help with his reactivity towards dogs and occasionally people. Alison reached out to me for help after other dog trainers had told her that the dog was a liability and should either be sent to a remote farm to live, or be put to sleep?!?! This dog needed some guidance and leadership from his owner, and he had to believe that his owner could control and deal with any given situation, so that AJ didnt have to. This way he could learn to relax, and just be a dog! Im really pleased with the progress both dog and owner made within the session. Build on what you have learned Alison and keep up the good work. Well done!

Hi everyone. It's always good to get feedback after a great training session. So I was pleased to hear from Amanda who I saw this week with her German Shepherd Dog, Zola.
Amanda doesn't have facebook but asked me to post her review of our training session on behalf of her. (Whatsapp screenshot)
I also wanted to thank all who follow me for your continued support over the years. It's greatly appreciated!
I genuinely love what I do and it makes my day having met some wonderful, interesting people and fantastic dogs! Once again, thank you!

After a relatively quite period due to the heat, It was good to get back training with young Oszkar, the Hungarian Vizsla.
I dont tend to see many, but when I do, I find them a great breed to work with.
Oszkars owners contacted me to address leash pulling, jumping up, recall issue and reactivity towards other dogs.
All of this was worked on within the session, and by putting more leadership skills into his owner , the changes happened quickly. The dog was off leash returning to his owner first time every time. Walking by his owners side, being attentive of whatever pace his owner chose to walk. Oszkar learnt that his owner could now deal with any given situation, so Oszkar didnt have to. This in turn extinguished any reactivity towards other dogs. Great session! Keep up the good work.
