As many of you now know I have made the very difficult decision to close the dog walking side of my business. I have taken on a new job role training dogs within a charity in the Durham area.

Pawsitive Steps will also be taking a small break just while I get my feet under the table in my new role. Those working through their 6 months behaviour program with me please don't worry I will still be here to support you.

I will announce on here when I am ready to take on new clients again.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the past nearly 3 years. It has been the most incredible ride and I'm excited to see where the next chapter takes me 💓

Happy Halloween!!

I hope everyone is looking forward to an evening of fun however it can sometimes be a difficult time for the doggies in our lives.

Here are some top tips to help support our furry friends:

- don't knock on houses that are unlit, there could be a dog that is worried by unknown people or working hard on training around the doorbell.

- don't force your furry friends to dress up if they are uncomfortable

-walk your dogs before the trick or treaters start

-give your dog an extra bit of space past Halloween decorations we don't want them to get scared

-if you are having trick or treaters at your house make sure your dogs are locked away from the front door so they don't get scared by the costumes

Still time to book on to our social walk

Social walks!

These are great for building confidence, working on focus and building neutrality in a controlled environment with other like minded dog parents.

5th October - 10am- £8 for those dogs that are friendly but struggle with excitement and frustration. It is also a great opportunity for your dog to make friends in a controlled calm environment (over 6 months)

19th September - 10am -£8 - for those dogs who are nervous or fear aggressive and need that extra little bit of space. This walk is also suitable for friendly dogs that want to work on being around dogs with a larger distance (over 6 months)
