Beautiful rescue Max started his training this week. Puppy training with some bespoke emphasis on a few skills Max currently struggles with. He did so well as did his lovely human . Can’t wait for next session 🐾

On this International Day of Older People, we are celebrating the vital role that social connections can play in everyone’s lives; from a quick hello on the street to deep and supportive relationships that are built over time. For dog lovers who can’t have their own dogs any more, it helps of course, that those deep and supportive relationships include a lovely dog.

Being happy and connected with our communities is seen as essential to our wellbeing at every age and in later life, changing health can bring new challenges. That’s where Wag comes in. Our special Wag friendships for older people alone in their own homes are making a difference right across our region, with wonderful Wag volunteer teams befriending their fellow dog loving neighbours from Northallerton up to Berwick across to Brampton and everywhere in between. For their older friends they’re making the world feel like a better place with their friendship, kindness and the mutual love of a dog.
