🎉🏆 WELSH HOME PONY 2025 – THAT’S A WRAP! 🏆🎉

What a week. What a vibe. What a show! From pint-sized competitors in the 11 & Under 70cm bringing huge heart, to the thrilling battles for HOYS tickets and the action of Pony Showjumper of the Year – Welsh Home Pony 2025 had it ALL.

💫 Today’s grand finale? Cate Cerr & the ever-elegant Cosmic Girl III closed the show in serious style, storming to the top spot in Pony Showjumper of the Year with a round that was bold, brave, and simply beautiful to watch. A true masterclass in harmony and horsemanship 🔥🙌

🌟 The EnableLink HOYS 128cm Qualifier saw Kobi Watt and the fabulous Derraveragh Two Tone claim the win – a dynamic duo heading to HOYS with serious style.

🌟 And bringing the curtain down with power, Christina Cotton & Mayfly Black Pennell rose to the occasion in the HOYS 138cm Qualifier – holding their nerve and rising to the top! We’re wishing you all the very best at HOYS!

We’ll be cheering from the sidelines to each and every one of you! 🎊

But behind every jump, ribbon, and rosette is the heartbeat of this show – our phenomenal team. Team spirit, camaraderie, and an atmosphere you could feel in your bones – today had it all! From the fearless 10 & Unders to the fierce 148cm Teams, every nation brought their A-game and truly shone in the spotlight.

👏 A huge round of applause to each and every rider – your dedication, determination, and the sheer heart you pour into this sport is nothing short of inspirational. You’re the reason the magic happens. ✨

🔥 Special congratulations to Alfie Diaper, who soared to victory in the Blue Chip Newcomer Second Rounds! Out of 93 talented combinations who stepped up to face Raf Suarez's brilliant course, 16 made it through to the first jump-off. Just 10 made it to the final round with 4 treble clears – pure class! Best of luck at Horse of the Year Show! 🏆🐎

And what a way to close the day… the Les Squibb Memorial Cup – All Weather Welsh 1.10m Derby did not disappoint! Huge congratulations to Charlie Barker & Romans Eclipse, who led the class from the very first to go and never looked back. What a performance 💫

Day One Done ✅ – What a Start to the Welsh Home Pony 2025! 🐴🏆

We kicked off in style today as Tara Sweetnam rose to the challenge of Rafael Suarez's expertly designed course, delivering the only treble clear in the 148cm Restricted Rider Final. Huge congratulations, Tara – a truly brilliant round! 🎉🙌

The evening brought all the laughs and good vibes with our brand-new class – Pedal With A Parent! 🚴‍♂️👩‍👧
It’s safe to say it was a hit, and we’re already looking forward to making it a staple of future events. A big shoutout to everyone who took part – what a way to end the day!

This is exactly the spirit that makes The Welsh Home Pony so special – a perfect mix of top sport and good fun. 💫
