Walk This Way We are a friendly dog walking company based in Chepstow & we can also do surrounding areas. We are also canine first aid trained level 2 (vtq)

We offer dog walking privately or in groups and we can do drop in visits for other animals as well.

First aid for heat stroke
At first your pet is distressed, restless & panting excessively.
If heat stroke progresses he may drool saliva, seem unsteady on his feet & his gums may turn blue or bright red.
What to do:
Move to cool, shaded place & direct fan on him. Wet ear flaps & paws then quickly place in cool water bath or in the shower (better than covering with wet towels).
Transport to the vets immediately.
When heat stroke is severe it affects nearly every system in the body and simply lowering the body temperature may not be enough to avoid catastrophe.
