Every three months, we invite a local artist to display their work on our walls in the clinic.

We now have the lovely illustrations of Roxana de Rond on our walls, many of which are for sale. Pop in to have a look!

Roxana de Rond is an artist living in Cambridge. Her illustrations include Cambridge City and college scenes, pubs, and nearly always a dog can be spotted somewhere in the picture.

Our pet of the month for October is Basil, a bundle of energy who endured the 'cone of shame' for nearly a month after cutting his paw.

What a busy week we have had! Our Wednesday suddenly turned very busy as a dog who was struggling to give birth was brought down to us. Everyone dropped what they were doing and got straight to work. We are a close-knit team and always help each other out so whilst our amazing vet and nurse performed an emergency C-section, our admin team switched hats and revived each puppy as it was brought through from theatre. Normally, a Mother dog will chew through the placenta and umbilical cord and lick her puppies to stimulate them to move and breathe. In this instance, as the Mother was undergoing emergency surgery, it was down to the admin team to do all this and it really was all hands on deck to get all the puppies breathing. We are so thrilled to let you know that the owners have reported that Mum and all 7 puppies are doing really well! We just had time to clean up, get changed and have some food before setting up for our client allergy information evening. It was a great turn out and thank you to Gemma from for presenting. Keep an eye on our social for our next client information evening.

It goes without saying that we love all the creatures, great and small, who come through our surgery doors, but our ‘Pet of the Month’ feature gives us the opportunity to highlight pets who have been particularly challenged and brave. Meet Lilly, our Church Street POTM this September ...

We love the fact that we have such a diverse client base. One of the best parts of our job is getting to know our pets and their owners, and we often hear about our clients in the local (and sometimes national) news! We are also aware that there are many members of our local community who work quietly in the background, without recognition, significantly improving the lives of those around them. We thought it would be nice to have a place to share our appreciation of these community heroes:
