There's nothing better than watching "your " pups grow, learn, and become more confident. We have had so many good dog encounters today at the park and while she used to be super anxious, today, she was brave and interested enough to sniff them. I was so incredibly proud of her. She knows if a dog's energy is too big, I've got her to keep her safe, while gently pushing her out of her comfort zone and encouraging her when we meet dogs with calmer energy to build trust and confidence. 🥰

On today's episode of Walks With Rocco we decided to take a refreshing break at the pub. While it was pleasant to walk under a cloudy sky, as soon as the sun came out, it was rather unexpectedly hot. I had forgotten to take the slip collar with me today and Rocco made me incredibly proud by not using the opportunity to fall back into his pulling habits and was such a good boy. Seems like months of working with him have paid off. 🙌😁 Next up is practicing to chill out during sit down breaks outdoors...

Enrichment is so important for dogs (and not just dogs), preventing boredom, increasing their confidence, lowering anxiety and reactivity, strengthening your bond, creating skills like problem-solving, keeping them fit, and engaging their natural innate behaviors.

Always keep in mind your dog's interest, breed needs, age, and health. Don't forget to offer plenty of water during and after activities. 🌸

For Rocco it was switcher-upper day today and we headed to a different common today. He enjoyed every minute of it with new impressions and smells and came back a very happy boy.😊
He has improved SO much since I started with him and our walks are much more relaxed now.

Fabulous walk with Dixie Do & Pip today! Much less busy and crazy at the park so we got to follow our routine and were able to have cuddles and a digging session. Dixie LOVES her routines and goes on strike if something doesn't happen her way. She also knows if she lays down and turns on limp mode, she'll get her treats eventually. 😅🥰
