🩷 Pepper the gorgeous girlie came in for her groom today and she was just adorable from start to finish. Such a sweet, gentle little soul.
🧡 Chewie had her regular groom and treated me to all her classic Chewie noises — honestly the cutest soundtrack.
💛 Nala came in for her very first deshed and she was so brave. She was a little wary at first, but she settled beautifully and did amazingly for her first time.

✂️ Today’s Tool: Toys! Nala is only 7 months old, so keeping her occupied during something she’s not too sure about really helps. Soft toys gave her something positive to focus on and made the whole experience feel safer and more fun.

🧡 Pedro had his regular groom today and he turns 1 tomorrow!! He was my very first Gentle Start puppy, so it feels like a special milestone for both of us. Happy Birthday Pedro! 🥳
🤍 Darcy came in for a spruce up with a bath, dry and paw tidy. She’s such a sweet girl and left lighter, softer, and smelling gorgeous.

✂️ Today’s Tool: Customer support! I'm a solo groomer, and Darcy needed a little help with balance due to her hip replacement. When she struggled to stand for her front paw pads and nails, her person stepped in to gently support her so I could work safely. Never be afraid to ask for help!

💛 Noodle, who is very nervous of the groomers, had a huge breakthrough today! He walked in confidently, settled quickly, and even ended the session playing fetch, nose booping every toy, and proudly carrying them all outside. A massive step forward!
🩷 Maggie came in for her groom and was as patient as ever. Hard to believe she’s turning one in September; she handles the whole process beautifully and looked adorable from start to finish. Gorgeous girlie!
💜 Sasha had her deshed today and she’s just the loveliest soul. Calm, gentle, and with the most stunning coat. She left feeling light, fluffy, and beautiful!

✂️ Groomer’s Note: Always remember to brush bellies. Bellies pick up all sorts, so they knot easily. It’s sensitive skin, so the more regular the brushing, the fewer the knots, and the kinder it is to your dog’s skin.

💛 Billy & Bella popped in for their grooms and honestly they’re just adorable together. Both left looking fresh, tidy, and happy.
💚 Alfie, my oldest customer at 14 and my little fur baby, had his groom today. He’s so brave with the dryer now, I couldn't be prouder!
🤍 Bear came in for a nail trim and was super brave. Such a handsome boy.

🤍 Malibu came in for his deshed today and was in full barky‑boy mode at the start, but settled in the end. He left a super soft cloud.
🧡 Colin came in for his groom! Last time the dryer worried him, but today we took it slow and steady and he relaxed beautifully and even laid down on the table. Such a proud moment.

🔊 Salon Sound: Motorbikes galore as Calne Bike Meet rolls past. I've heard them flying by all morning and can’t wait to head over later 🏍

🩷 Pickle was in for her regular groom today. She’s still a little unsure about her legs and feet, but she’s getting braver each visit and settling into the routine so nicely.
💚 George came for his first deshed with me and did really well. He was very nervous of the dryer, but holding a toy helped him relax enough for us to work through his coat. We got a huge amount of fluff out, so he’ll feel much lighter now.

😌 Calm Moment: A simple comfort made all the difference for George today. Proof that small adjustments can change the whole experience.

Muffin’s Puppy Package Journey 🐾

Today little Muffin came in for Part 1 of his Puppy Package, the Gentle Start session.

Because Muffin is only 3 months old, we’ve split his hour into two half‑hour visits. He’ll be back in August for the second half, then September for Part 2: his bath and blow dry, and October for Part 3: his first full groom when he reaches 6 months old.

Gentle Start sessions are calm, pressure‑free introductions to every stage of grooming. Muffin explored the salon, the bath, and the grooming table, then had a tiny taster of each part: water on, dryer on, clippers on, a paw tidy, a face tidy, a little nail trim, and a gentle brush all over.

He took everything in beautifully and left feeling more confident about what to expect next time. What an absolute cutie!
