💔 We really, really need your help. 💔
These posts are never easy ones to write but here goes!!
As many of you know, our open days have always been one of the main ways we raised money to keep the sanctuary going.
Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, we haven’t been able to hold them recently, and the loss of that income has hit us incredibly hard.
Just when we think we’re getting back on our feet, another large vet bill arrives. 😞
In recent weeks it feels like it hasn’t stopped.. the sad loss of Kip and his medical care, vaccinations, dentals & neutering for 10 bunnies along with their ongoing care and then came Ellie’s emergency surgery for a very nasty growth on her head 😢
Then there are the essentials.. vaccines, worming, mite treatments, feed, equipment..
Sadly this means that we are now behind on our rent, water, electricity, and hay and straw bills. 😢
The recent heatwave will be pushing our costs even higher. Fans, air conditioning, and extra water are all necessities right now.
If you are in a position to help, could you spare just £2 or £3? It might not feel like much, but if lots of people each gave a small amount, it would make an enormous difference to the animals in our care 🤍
