We just wanted to say a HUGE heartfelt thank you for all the love and generosity we have received this week.

🆘 SANCTUARY SOS – WE NEED YOUR HELP 🆘

After 9 years of rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for animals in need, we are heartbreakingly close to shutting our gates for good.

Sadly this has been the most difficult year we’ve ever faced. Due to personal circumstances, we haven’t been able to run our usual open days and fundraising events and the drop in support and funding is hitting us hard 😢

Despite the tireless work of our amazing volunteers, who go above and beyond every day, (& the sanctuary would not still be running without!!!) we are struggling to keep up with:

🐾 Rising vet bills
🐾 Ongoing rent and feed costs
🐾 Urgent fencing and shelter repairs
🐾 And worst of all, turning away animals who need our help

It breaks my heart to write this and the thought of closing brings a lot of sadness, I’m hopeful that we can pull through the summer months and see what winter brings.

If you’re able to donate - even the cost of a coffee, it really could make all the difference.

Every single penny goes directly to the animals in our care 🩷

🙏 A big THANK YOU to MH Tree Services for delivering wood chip to the Sanctuary earlier this week.

The birds had a great time 'helping' to lay it down in their enclosures, although we think Nancy needs to work on increasing her one-wood-chip-at-a-time productivity rate 😅
