Brave Ronnie’s Story 🐾

Ronnie had quite the day with us!

He underwent multiple tooth extractions and treatment for an aural hematoma —

A painful, blood-filled swelling in the ear caused by broken blood vessels.

This condition required surgical repair and ongoing care, including regular drainage.

Without treatment, the swelling can harden and lead to permanent ear deformity.

Through it all, Ronnie was an absolute superstar ⭐️

He handled everything with such courage and, of course, soaked up every bit of fuss and cuddles from the team.

Meet handsome Rusty 💛
Rusty came in for castration.
His operation was not quite as routine as a standard castrate.

He had one retained testicle(a condition where a testicle doesn’t descend into the sc***um).

Before surgery, Rusty had a scan to locate it — and it was found in his inguinal (groin) area.

This meant his procedure was slightly more complex than a standard castrate.Its called a Cryporchid castration .

Removing a retained testicle is really important, as leaving it can increase the risk of:

:Testicular cancer
:Testicular torsion (where the testicle twists, cutting off blood supply — a very painful and serious condition)

The good news ✨

Rusty came through his surgery like a champ and is recovering really well! 😊

What a good boy, Rusty 👏🥰🐶

Rusty is not a fan of having his nails clipped.

And he makes that very clear!
We took things slowly, popped a little muzzle on him for safety,

worked within his limits as much as possible to keep the experience calm and low-stress.

Considering how much he dislikes it, he did incredibly well.

Bless him. It just shows how far patience and understanding can go when you’re trying to find the right approach.🐾
