It is open 7 days a week for consults by appointment, and runs our 24hr emergency service. Meadowbank in Northop is our 2nd practice, appointments Mon to Fri, mornings and afternoons, also pain clinics, acupuncture, K-Laser therapy and surgical procedures. Village Vets in Mancot is our 3rd practice, appointments Mon to Fri, mornings and afternoons. ALL practices are covered with our 24hr emergency service.

Happy World Blood Donor Day 🩸

Did you know that dogs can also be blood donors? 🐶

Just like humans, dogs sometimes need lifesaving blood transfusions, and the only source of that blood is other dogs!

We rely on donated blood to carry out lifesaving treatments. Without donor dogs, many of the procedures we perform simply wouldn’t be possible ❤️‍🩹

That’s why we’re proud to support Pet Blood Bank UK , the only charity in the UK that provides a blood bank service for dogs 🙏

If your dog is aged between 1 and 8, weighs over 25kg, and is fit, healthy, and confident, they could have what it takes to be a lifesaving blood donor! Find out more and register at www.petbloodbankuk.org/welcome ❤️

Think hay fever is just a human problem? Think again… your dog could be suffering too.

Keep an eye out for these common signs:

🐾 Excessive scratching or licking
👀 Red, watery eyes
🤧 Sneezing or a runny nose
🌿 Chewing paws or rubbing their face

If your dog seems more irritated than usual, it might be more than just a seasonal itch. Be sure to speak to your vet if you are worried about your dog.

Sadly we have had a deceased Ginger male, un-neutered cat brought in to the Meadowbank practice. No collar, no chip and a cut on his left ear.
