I am so excited to announce.....

I have AIR CONDITIONING 💧❄️🎉🎊

Can't tell you how excited I still am! I had it installed early last week in my bedroom and downstairs, just in time for this heatwave. We are comfortable and safe from the heat.

Most of the dogs that stay sleep in my bedroom, and so it was imperitive that it's kept cool as well as downstairs. Me and the three chis are cool as cucumbers 🥒 I wonder if I've taken it a bit too far though.... ???😆

When they get the chance they try to feel the heat and sunbathe through the conservatory 🤦‍♀️ Those cheeky little heat seeking Mexicans 😆 I do let them bask a little in the mornings before it gets to hot.....🌞🐶

The Tongue Watch - Hot Weather

As a boarder, our Canine First Aid training teaches us all about the warning signs of over heating and heatstroke, we recognise the signs and take action quickly, as soon as your dog starts to get too hot. This is why we are very careful when and if we walk your dogs, especially during the ever increasing heatwaves.

I recently shared a webinar called Hot Dog, which has everything you need to know about the different stages of heatstroke and how to cool your dogs, it really is worth a watch.

This video is an excellent visual warning sign that your dog is getting too hot and you need to take action quickly to cool them down.
