Our Story
Hi, I'm Rachel and am the owner of Furever Friends Pet Services. I have been an animal lover and pet owner all my life. I currently have two beautiful sprocker spaniels, Tilly (8 years) and Brandi (1 year). I have also previously owned a leopard gecko, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, tropical fish and a tortoise! I am offering a friendly, reliable, flexible and professional pet care service including dog boarding, dog walking, pet sitting and drop in visits for all types of pets, in the South Bristol area and also covering Brean during weekends over the spring/summer months during the caravanning season. I have completed one to one Dog Walking education training with Roz Pooley, Owner and Managing Director of The Mutty Professor. Roz is one of Bristol's most recommended and respected trainers in dog training and behaviour. I am fully insured, licenced with Bristol City Council and am DBS (CRB) checked. I have CBS certified diploma's in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting, Dog/Animal Psychology and Animal First Aid and am a member of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters (NARPS). I am also currently studying for a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour diploma (OFQAL accredited). My husband Gerry is part of my team and is on hand to help provide a back up service when required. He is also DBS checked and covered by my insurance, so rest assured between us we can provide a continuous service to cover your needs. All pets will be treated as part of my family as if they are my own and will receive my undivided attention and love when they are in my care. I fully embrace positive reinforcement and also love to provide mental enhancement activities for the dogs in my care.
We also own a large static caravan at Brean, with a large enclosed and secured garden, with access to beach and nature reserve walks, which are on our doorstep. So if you fancy letting your dog have a little holiday of their own, we will be happy to oblige where possible. I look forward to being of service to you and your beloved pets.
