Referral Veterinary Service serving the South West of England and Wales Rowe Referrals was founded in 2000.

Part of the Rowe Vet Group, Rowe Referrals now looks after animals from all over the UK with vets providing referral services in Ophthalmology, Neurology, Dermatology, Nuclear medicine, Internal medicine, Surgery and cardiology. The data controller is Independent Vetcare Ltd, The Chocolate Factory, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 2AU (ICO reference number Z3212973). 💜💜Rocco💜💜

Rocco was referred to our oncology team for a suspected mast cell tumour.
The mass was removed and sent for Histology, this came back as a high-grade tumour, so chemotherapy was required.
Rocco is still undergoing his treatment, but he is smashing it. When he isn't on holiday, paddle boarding or snoozing the day away, he comes to us for his Vinblastine treatment. This treatment is made up of 4 weekly visits and then 4 bi-weekly visits, with steriods to be dosed at home.
We hope Rocco continues to smash his treatments.. watch this space for a follow-up 💜

👏Meet the wonderful humans we’re celebrating this week who are the often-unsung heroes of our practice…the veterinary receptionists!

💙They are the friendly voices on the phone, the warm smiles at the front desk, the weavers of diary magic, and the calm in a (sometimes chaotic) storm. From comforting pet parents to keeping everything running smoothly in the day & more, they truly do it all!

📣Join us as the week comes to a close, in giving a massive thank you to our reception team for their dedication, compassion, and daily dose of patience. We’d be completely lost without them!

Introducing Jen, who joined Rowe Referrals earlier this month as Referrals Manager, having relocated from a mixed Practice in South Somerset. She thrives on working as a team to develop & sustain a good working environment & enjoys providing leadership, management & support. She continues to look for ways to provide excellent client care, while ensuring their pets receive the highest level of Veterinary Care.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys programming live music & hosting monthly events with her partner. When she needs to recharge, she can be found exploring the city & countryside with their dog or curled up with the cats, a good book & cuppa!
