Today, Arlo met Bayley, and it was a truly special experience.
With the assistance of Anka for added support for Bayley.
Bayley has been struggling with separation anxiety and confidence issues. He’s typically a real “velcro dog,” happiest when he’s right beside his humans and rarely venturing far from them.

Bayley joined us on today’s walk as part of Stanley’s family. While Stanley and Bayley are still learning to feel comfortable around each other, we’re working carefully to help build a positive relationship between them.

Interestingly, Arlo was originally meant to act as the buffer between the two dogs, but he ended up doing so much more. Throughout the walk, Arlo gently encouraged Bayley to explore away from his humans, respected his boundaries perfectly, and invited him to engage in play at his own pace.

The highlight of the day was seeing Bayley enjoy a little play run — something he hasn’t done since the loss of one of his beloved humans two years ago

To say Bayley’s mum was happy would be a huge understatement. Moments like these remind us just how much dogs can help and support one another.
