Rowley Racing | The Inside Rail 🐎

Despite often keeping our fingers crossed for rain in order to run our horses, here at the yard heavy rain is usually a big concern.

With our gallop located on the other side of the ford, heavy rainfall has been know to restrict us from being able to use the gallop and has completely washed it away on occasions 🌧️

Thanks to our yard sponsor Andy at AP Precision Groundwork’s Ltd we are now much calmer whenever a storm is forecast!

HORSE OF THE MONTH 🐎

Each month we will be sharing information, updates and facts about a horse at Rowley Racing.

First up is Masked Dance 🐴💃🏽

Stable name - Mascarpone
Age - 7
Breeding - Masked Marvel x Breakdance I

Fun Fact - Masked Dance has been with us now for 4 seasons and is very high maintenance and incredibly sassy!

Mel rides her a lot on the school to keep her sass levels down so that probably tells us a bit about Mel as well😂

When all is in her favour, Masked Dance has run consistently and is very game, a highlight being a very good win at Aintree last season backed up by a very close 2nd back at Aintree this spring.

She will be a fun horse for our Racing Club and hopefully still has many fun days and good runs in her! 🐎

Today we were lucky to have jockeys in for a schooling morning. We were able to get lots of horses schooled up both the hurdles and fences ahead of upcoming races!

The Poplar Cottage Racing Club enjoyed a morning on the gallops yesterday to see their three horses, followed by coffee and cake🐎🍰

The club consists of Just In A Bit, Masked Dance and Moorsbrook. Horses that have provided the club with lots of fun over the last few seasons ⭐️
