With the recent announcement of Kyntara’s retirement, we would like to let you know that both Raffle Ticket and Happygolucky have hung up their racing boots 🐎

Raffle Ticket has been a wonderful horse and has given us some wonderful days for many years. Raffles won 5 times over fences in total, contributing to our Doncaster double and Aintree treble! He was a fragile horse, so at the great age of 12, and in agreement with his owner, we have called time whilst he is safe and sound.
Raffles has gone back to spend his days with his owner, Countess Cathcart and we are forever grateful to her for trusting us with such a lovely, talented horse.

Happygolucky had some amazing days whilst in training with Kim Bailey and we were then lucky enough to take over the mantle for his last couple of seasons.

He gave us so much fun, with days both Aintree and Cheltenham for owners Lord and Lady Dulverton.
Happy has now gone to a lovely home local to us, and is loving life at a slower pace which is fantastic!

This does mark and end of an era with old faces we have had the pleasure of having in the yard for a long time, but we are delighted that they will enjoy a happy and well deserved retirement.💙

Since we have quietened down here at Rowley Racing, we are excited to introduce our new purchases from the Goffs Spring Sale 🐎

As is inevitable at this time of year, we have had a few changes in staff and were sad to see Grace and Jazz leave recently to move on to pastures new and fresh challenges.

We thank them both for all their hard work, wishing them all our best wishes for the future!

This also means that we have some vacancies available here at Rowley Racing!

RIDERS:
We are looking for competent riders, no racing experience necessary but must be confident riding young and fit racehorses.

Being able to educate horses and ride correctly on the flat is a bonus.

YARD WORK:
We are looking for people who are hardworking, with experience handling horses with good attention to detail.

We can be flexible with hours and rates depending on experience.

🐎 Whilst we can’t accept dogs, we would consider your own horse.

🏡 On site accommodation.

We are a small, friendly family run yard, and we all work very much as a team.

There are ample opportunities to go racing, and you would be entitled to pool money, pension, and yard bonuses.

🕐 It is generally a 5-day week with everyone having at least one day off each weekend and a half day in the week depending on hours.
