The buns are officially in love!!!! It's been a long road and I can't wait for this boiling weather to go away so I can finish building their new enclosure but I am so excited to see them so happy together 🥰

Sweet boy is home and happily munching on his veggies 🥰 What looked like a simple abscess was actually filled with hair!!! The side of his face looks pretty gruesome but from the front he's looking a little bit like Marlon Brando in The Godfather 😂

As always can't thank the team at Cedar Vets enough for taking such great care of him ❤️

Need all the best wishes sent into the universe for Loki today ❤️ he's had an abscess come up in his cheek so he's going under anesthetic to have it checked as it seems to have a drainage hole inside his mouth.

My vet team are amazing and I trust them fully but I'm unusually on edge today 😭

Sweet boy Bramble is off for his neuter today ❤️ and then his and Cora's new enclosure should be arriving soon ready for them to hopefully bond, will just need some good weather to get it built 😂

Happy 3rd birthday to my sweet Stormy boy 🥰😍 He certainly likes to send me through all the emotions but he's now living his best life as a herd boar for the main herd ❤️

Sweet Cora had us a little worried this week ❤️ She went for her spay surgery on Wednesday and wasn't coming out of the anesthetic as well as we were all hoping, despite the procedure going smoothly, but I'm happy to report that she's back to being her bouncing scatty self and we even had a bit of a breakthrough with handling!

She went through so much in the first year of her life that I'm so excited to get to be her forever and give her all the love and fuss she deserves 💓

And as always the biggest thank you to Cedar Vets we're not 100% of the way through her healing but she's got the best team to help her through the rest 🥰

She would have been 4 today 💔 December 16th 2023, the day she arrived, I fell immediately madly in love with her.

January 4th 2024, the day she gave birth to her beautiful baby boy Loki, I left work early feeling very unwell, and I will forever be grateful I did as she went into labour not long after I got home and had to be rushed to the vets after no progression beyond passing an unusual mass.

May 1st 2025, the day my heart broke, she was rushed in as soon as the vets opened after a long night of begging the universe to let her be okay, sadly at 12:33pm I got the call that they X-rays showed severe Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus commonly know as twisted stomach or bloat, no surgery was going to be able to save her and I had to go say goodbye 💔 I will always wish I had longer with her, a year and a half wasn't anywhere near enough time and I would have given anything to have saved her.

I will forever thank Cedar Vets for the amazing work they do and their wonderful compassion in the harder situations.
