Our little stop-and-sip moments this week have definitely been needed

The dogs always have plenty of water waiting in the car after our walks, but this stainless steel water bottle with the attached dog bowl has been perfect for a little shady water break while we’re out and about.

Honestly, some of my favourite moments this week have just been sitting together in the shade — a sip for them, a sip for me, a treat or two… then off we stroll again

Although somehow I always end up with the dregs after the dogs have had first pick 😂

A warm welcome to Bohdi 🐾

This young chap is full of happiness, and I’ve really been enjoying getting to know him already.

Bohdi will be joining in with Buddy Walks soon, but whilst we build our bond, it’s all about fun, skritches, treats, and plenty of tail wags!

At Walking Paws Around Bordon, I take the time to really get to know each dog individually so I can carefully pair them with the perfect walking buddy.

Building their confidence, helping them feel safe, and making sure they truly enjoy their walks is always my priority.

Today was a very special milestone for Bonnie — her first time off lead with me after several months of practising recall, building trust, and finding the right buddy walking group for her.

Bonnie is already a very well-trained girlie, so it’s been all about taking the time for us to connect and helping her feel completely comfortable and confident. Seeing her happily enjoying herself today was such a proud moment.

She even did a little bit of bracken surfing with rafferty which made the boys get excited and do zoomies whilst she quietly watched them race backwards and forwards. I expect she felt dizzy watching them, i know i did 🤣

What’s your dog’s favourite part of a dog show? The scurry run? The natural treats? Or the quiet "safe pocket" snuggles? 🍦🐕

While we love the buzz of a summer show, it can be a lot for our four-legged friends to process.

So I've put together a guide on how to spot stress signals and why you should never feel guilty about skipping a "hello" to give your dog some space.

Little miss Moley has been doing so, so well out on her walks, thank goodness she’s got her big bro Mango helping her settle in

She’s also showing off her lovely new haircut this week… what do you think 💃🏼

Moley is a rescue dog, so we’ve had to take things very slow and steady for her. I’ve been working closely with her guardians to make sure she feels comfortable and confident at all times.

Next week, she’ll be meeting some new friends by joining one of our Senior Sniffer Strolls 🐶
These walks are calm, slow-paced and friendly. Absolutely perfect for a little lady like Moley

Mondays with the crew meant heading out to a brand new walk location today

There were lots of exciting new smells to explore, little obstacles to navigate, and plenty of gentle hills to trot up and down. Perfect for encouraging them to work those muscles and minds a little more.

As you can imagine, it was a very exciting walk, but we always take our time, stick together, and enjoy a well earned treat break along the way.

If you have a senior sniffer at home that would like some socialisation and a chance to stretch those legs then please do get in contact

What a fantastic morning we had at our Confident Canine Taster workshop. We set out to show dogs and their guardians some amazing but simple activities to boost their confidence, calmness and focus. Well, it was a huge success as you can see from two very chilled participants.
