Alongside making bowls, I am training to help dogs with Separation Anxiety.

I'm using a different approach where we look at your dog holistically to find out what is going on in the background that means they don't feel safe being left.

Mango has been my first case study and it has been such an eye opener. He can now be left for 20 mins. It's still a long game - this time last year, 2 mins was his limit and he'd door watch for that, vs now as in the clip below.

I need one more case study. It would involve 5 to 8 zoom sessions and whilst I am absolutely not promising to cure your dog, it would start you on the right path.

I just wanted to highly recommend this place for a holiday in Dorset. It's in the most peaceful setting, overlooking a huge pond (comes with ducks, moorhens, a kingfisher and loads of bats!).

I've stayed in lots of holiday cottages over the years. Often my moans include:

Only 1 roll of toilet paper
No washing or dishwasher detergent
Cheap, unmatching cutlery
Lack of basic utensils
Crusty old towels

This place is different. They have honestly thought of absolutely everything. Beautifully done out. Decent crockery/cutlery, sharp knives, loads of towels, about 20 toilet rolls, a big fridge freezer.

Our welcome pack included milk, bread, eggs, biscuits, apple juice, ice cream and even doggy ice cream.

It's also properly dog friendly including already fitted dog gates (bedroom and top of stairs) and a properly fenced garden with no gaps underneath (although fence is only to hip height so better for smaller dogs or non jumpers). No "no dogs on the furniture " rule.

The owners have 3 working cockers and are lovely.

You can walk across the fields to the village with dog friendly pubs/cafes, and we have found lots of lovely woodland walks nearby to beat the heat.

The only downside we've found is the steep wooden stairs. I bought some carpet strips from Amazon which have non slip backing and have worked brilliantly, although still too steep for Moley who has been carried as she's diddy.

We are just coming to the end of 10 days here and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's almost 6 months since little Guacamole (aka Moley) joined our family. Her first 2yrs were spent being used on a puppy farm in Ireland. She'd never been in a house or for a proper walk.

We still have a way to go, but just posting this as a record of her progress.

She is a beautiful, sassy little Miss, getting more confident and cuddly by the day 💖
