Update on the Chocolate Box Kittens 😻🍫

🚨Please do not call the shelter regarding the Chocolate Box kittens 🚨 Thank you! 😊

The kittens are currently in foster care and are not at the shelter. An influx of phone calls prevents our staff and volunteers from dealing with urgent welfare matters and helping the cats currently in our care. Thank you for your understanding 😊❤️

These adorable babies have now had their final health checks, and are getting ready to head off to their forever homes! 🏡
After such a rough start in life, they have all gone from strength to strength, and are now thriving 🥰

We’re delighted to say that 6 of the 8 Chocolate Box kittens have already found their forever families! ❤️ 😁

That just leaves KitKat & Wispa 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ 🥰

These gorgeous girls are incredibly affectionate and share a very special bond, so we would love to see them find a home together.
We are now accepting applications for KitKat & Wispa as a bonded pair ❤️

MISSING CAT – ESKBANK

Please keep an eye out for this little girl who has gone missing from her home in Eskbank.

She is 16 years old and may be feeling a little confused or disoriented. We are very worried about her and would be grateful if local residents could check garages, sheds, outbuildings, gardens, and any sheltered areas where she may have wandered and become trapped.

FOUND CAT – SHERWOOD PARK, BONNYRIGG

Lothian Cat Rescue has picked up a cat that was involved in a road traffic accident (RTA) in the Sherwood Park area of Bonnyrigg.

Unfortunately, no microchip was found.

🐾 Update on Oreo 🐾

This little boy’s name is Oreo. He’s now got all the medication he needs to make a recovery ❤️

The owner has been given a vet appointment for one week’s time and has been advised that Oreo must stay indoors and not be allowed outside until he has fully recovered.

We’ve asked for regular updates and have also offered to help with giving his medication if needed. We’ll post another update once Oreo is fully recovered.

🚨 URGENT APPEAL – DOES ANYONE RECOGNISE THIS CAT? 🚨

This little boy is currently with us at Lothian Cat Rescue after being found in the woods at Oxgangs wearing this cone. 💔

He is in a great deal of pain with his eyes, ears and face and is desperately trying to claw at himself. Our vets have started pain relief, steroids and creams for his eyes, ears and skin, but he has a long road ahead of him.

We are pleading for anyone who may know this cat, or who has any information about how he ended up in this condition, to please come forward. Even the smallest bit of information could help us understand what he has been through and get him the care he needs.

Please share far and wide so we can reach anyone who may recognise him. 🙏
