Hello folks. Just wanted to give you an update on Willie. Some of you already know that he was taken into hospital on Wednesday, some of you won't. The long and short of it is that he's been pretty poorly this past week with a condition called Vasculitis. This has caused him to have bleeding on his lungs and his kidneys to fail. He's been having pretty intensive treatment and I'm pleased to say he's responding to this. He's not out of the woods yet, but we're seeing daily improvements.
We wanted to let you know, however, that we are unable to say when he'll be back at work. Only that it won't be in the immediate future. We totally understand that you will have to make/have already made arrangements for your boys and girls but we wanted me to let you know the position for now.
We're hopeful for a full recovery in time and would welcome you all back again if that is the case. We'll keep you posted of what's happening every now and then.
I can't tell you just how much he's missing the dogs. It's been a terribly difficult time for him and you all know how much he hates letting any of you down but his health is the main thing we need to focus on.
