Thank you for your support! Moderation guidelines
The RSPCA is here for animals and we’d love our page to reflect this. There are so many important animal welfare messages to get across and discussions to be had; we’ve got a few guidelines to ensure all this important stuff doesn’t get lost! To help us keep animal welfare at the top of the agenda, please don’t post any:

• violent, obscene, profane, hateful, or racist posts, links or images
• comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation
• solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial or not-for-profit organisations.
• comments that suggest or encourage illegal activity
• multiple successive off-topic or disruptive posts
• repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated
• posts containing specific details about cruelty cases (these should be reported to the cruelty line on 0300 1234 999, rather than posted here)
• posts which we feel may potentially impact upon prosecutions. Where an investigation is considered ‘active’, any comments made about the case may mean someone facing charges might not be in a position to have a fair trial and the trial could collapse. We reserve the right to delete any of these types of comments, or ban any user who infringes these guidelines. In addition to this, individuals who seek to persistently antagonise our supporters, and accounts which are suspected to be false profiles created with the intention of breaching a ban and persistently antagonising RSPCA supporters, will be removed from the page.

Meet Vera🐾

We can't believe this stunning girl is sadly RSPCA Northumberland West's longest-staying dog.

She's a young, smiley Staffie Cross who absolutely adores her people and can never resist a good fuss! She has huge potential when it comes to learning and would thrive with a dedicated owner who is willing to continue her training journey.

Could you make Vera feel less overlooked? Take a look at her profile and apply today: https://bit.ly/4eTaJcO

Over 200 days and not one application💔

Meet Patsy, a sweet and shy lady who arrived at Rspca Ashford Garden Cattery over 6 months ago via our animal rescue officers.

Upon arrival, she was a frightened soul and sadly didn't cope well in the cattery. She's since been finding her paws though in a wonderful foster home, who have shown her the love and patience she needed to come out of her shell.

Could you give Patsy the quiet, loving home she's looking for? Visit her profile: https://bit.ly/4tA84br

No dog ever died from missing one walk🚨

If the pavement is too hot for your hand for five seconds, it's definitely too hot for paws. During the heatwave, stick to walks at dusk and dawn to avoid burnt paw pads and heatstroke, and if in doubt, don't go out.

Please share this vital reminder to help protect four (and three!)-legged friends in hot weather.

Apparently it's coming home? But our animals don't yet know the feeling 😔

Here are just a few of our dogs, and cats who would love to cheer on England by your side.

Will you give them the call-up? 📞
