I'm so proud of all my riders but today I am super proud of this pair ... A huge confidence boost today , so calm and collected at their first show on grass , we all know how the RORs can be and they couldn't of had a better experience, you have listened to every single piece of advice and it's starting to pay off , it was so nice to hear the judges comments and to see your smile 😁 welldone isla and the beautiful Beula 🧡

Couldn't be a more fitting day to show the on going retraining of a "racer" .. this mare you may remember used to do the wall of death for fun , when she was clearly running from pain (grade 3 ulcers) , all vet checks done and we have slowly been creating a new way of going for both horse and rider , straightening and strengthening and today wallah 👌 , a special mention to the wonderful Allison Winterbottom who worked her magic on isla position in the saddle which has made a huge difference also , absolutely thrilled for them , but the hard work will not stop there this is just scratching the surface so watch this space ...

Katie is an experienced coach and trainer with over 20 years in the equestrian world. A BHS-qualified instructor, they have competed successfully up to Medium level ,training Advanced Medium at home,producing and breeding her own horses along the way. A regional champion and a consistent top-10 finisher at regionals and area festivals, they have competed at the nationals numerous times, achieving an 8th-place finish in the country on their homebred horse in their first national appearance.

Running her own yard and training with some of the best instructors in the country, Katie has worked with horses and riders across all disciplines—including dressage, eventing, show jumping, western riding, ROR, showing, kids’ ponies, and "problem" horses.Katie Specialises in improving a horse’s way of going, making them stronger, more balanced, and more capable across disciplines.

A highly adaptable coach, Katie has extensive experience working with nervous riders and has developed her own techniques for building confidence in and out of the saddle. Katie also regularly train clients with ASD, tailoring each session to suit individual needs.

Show season is upon us! 😱
