Please please brush your dog it’s not fair 🥲😔

If a dog is badly matted:

* Don’t pull mats apart aggressively with scissors near the skin.
* Use a detangling spray and slicker brush for minor mats.
* Severe matting is often safest handled by a professional groomer or veterinarian.

For prevention:

* Brush regularly (daily for some coats)
* Schedule routine grooming
* Dry coats thoroughly after baths/walks
* Keep problem areas trimmed

We usually post fresh grooms… but today we have something extra special 🐩✨

Janine, Shampoodles’ previous owner, has welcomed a beautiful litter of KC registered Miniature Poodle puppies, lovingly raised in her family home - and there is one very special little red girl still available for sale 💛

Born over Easter Weekend 2026, she has been raised with so much love, care and attention from day one.

Poodles are incredibly intelligent, affectionate dogs and are known for being hypoallergenic, making them a wonderful choice for families and allergy sufferers alike.

Lavender, mum to the puppies, is first and foremost a much-loved family dog. She has the sweetest nature, is fantastic with children and loves nothing more than adventuring with her family - from countryside walks to climbing Scafell Pike! She has also passed her Dog Citizenship tests and was proudly shown at Crufts 2025.

This is Lavender’s first and only litter, and we’re hoping to find a kind, committed home where this little girl will be truly cherished as part of the family for life 💛
