Emergency Contact Policy

The safety and wellbeing of every dog in our care is our highest priority. For this reason, all dogs attending daycare or boarding must have a nominated emergency contact listed on their registration paperwork.

Your emergency contact should:

- Be someone who can be reached if we are unable to contact you.
- Be available and willing to collect your dog at short notice if your dog becomes unwell, injured, or otherwise unable to remain in our care.
- Be someone you trust to confirm or make decisions on your behalf regarding your dog's care if you cannot be contacted.

In the event of an emergency, we will always make every reasonable effort to contact the dog's owner first using the contact details provided. If we are unable to reach you, we will then contact your nominated emergency contact to discuss your dog's care and arrange collection if necessary.

Please note that dogs will not be accepted for boarding unless a valid emergency contact has been provided. This requirement helps ensure that, should an unexpected situation arise, your dog can receive the care and support they need without unnecessary delay.

By providing an emergency contact, you confirm that they have agreed to act on your behalf if required and are aware of their responsibilities.
