We sleep during the day and take days off when other vets are working - so we're alert and effective at our job, whether it's four in the morning or half-way through Christmas. We have the same qualifications and experience as other vets, and because we're dedicated to urgent critical care, we're particularly skilled at dealing with emergencies. And just like other vets, we love animals and we understand the special bond between people and their pets - so you can expect a caring, understanding approach at all times.

Margot, who belongs to Libby, one of our Manchester wards nurses, was recently admitted to our Vets Now Manchester Hospital after developing an unusual swelling in her mouth.

Although the cause remained a mystery, our team quickly stepped in to assess her condition and provide the treatment and care she needed, while keeping Libby updated every step of the way with regular photos and progress updates.

We're delighted to share that Margot is now doing much better and has since been discharged home. ❤️

When Ronnie was badly injured and needed urgent veterinary care, his owners found themselves in a difficult situation as their regular vet was closed for the weekend.

They brought their lovely Ronnie to our Vets Now Manchester Hospital, where our team quickly stepped in to provide the emergency treatment he needed. From the moment they arrived, our staff were on hand to support both Ronnie and his owners through an understandably worrying time.

We’re delighted to share that, following prompt treatment and dedicated care, Ronnie is now recovering well at home. ❤️

When Ruben's owners noticed he was suffering from frequent sneezing and nosebleeds, they brought him to the internal medicine team at our Vets Now Manchester Hospital for further investigation.

Advanced imaging and biopsies revealed that Ruben had nasal lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the nasal passages in cats.

Following his diagnosis, Ruben began a course of chemotherapy with our team. Over the following months, he attended regular appointments and was always a relaxed and gentle patient throughout his treatment.

We're delighted to share that Ruben responded incredibly well to chemotherapy. His symptoms have now fully resolved and is experiencing no significant side effects. Seven months on from his diagnosis, he continues to be happy, healthy and back enjoying life at home. 😻

Please remember to wash and prep the fruit properly before giving it to your pup by removing any pulps, rinds, cores, and seeds. These can all be choking hazards. Apple seeds also contain a compound that can release cyanide if ingested, so be sure to take those out before your dog enjoys. 🍎
