Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic was established in 2011 by founder and Senior Veterinary Surgeon Peter Herold. Since this we have grown to a team of 5 full time Veterinary Surgeons, and a support team to include a Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, animal nursing assistants and reception staff, totalling almost 20 employees. In 2023 we became an Employee Ownership Trust

meaning we are 100% owned by our employees who are 100% dedicated to you and your pets. As such, Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic will remain and independent clinic. We believe by staying small and friendly this serves our community better than selling out to a large co operative. Our new ownership structure means you will always have a vet that knows you and your pet as if they were part of the family. We’re here to help dogs, cats and other family pets to live long, happy lives. Our wide experience allows us to offer both primary and urgent care for animals. Services are provided in our purpose built, modern clinic in Belfast, which has an in-house Laboratory, Radiography, Endoscope, Ultrasound Scanning and state of the art surgical suites.

REQUEST FOR BLOOD DONOR DOGS 🐶 🩸

We are appealing for any of our registered clients who might be willing and able to volunteer their dogs as a blood donor.

BLOOD DONOR CRITERIA:
• over 20kg weight
• between approx. 2-6 years old
• up to date with yearly vaccines
• no underlying health conditions
• good temperament at the vets

Blood donor dogs provide a life-saving resource for very sick dogs, and are much appreciated. If your dog ended up being required, we would give you a little thank you gift. 🎁

Guess who fell asleep during her electroacupuncture treatment… 😴🐾

Little Coco, a 3-year-old dachshund, completely drifted off while Lisa was performing the treatment. Taking relaxation to a whole new level!

Coco came to us with significant hind limb paresis, and one month later she is doing really well and becoming more mobile. It’s been lovely to see her progress and confidence improving with each session.

Sending lots of positive recovery vibes to this little lady as she continues her rehabilitation journey. You’re doing brilliantly Coco 💙🐶✨
