Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic was established in 2011 by founder and Senior Veterinary Surgeon Peter Herold. Since this we have grown to a team of 5 full time Veterinary Surgeons, and a support team to include a Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Nurses, student nurses, animal nursing assistants and reception staff, totalling almost 20 employees. In 2023 we became an Employee Ownership Trust

meaning we are 100% owned by our employees who are 100% dedicated to you and your pets. As such, Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic will remain and independent clinic. We believe by staying small and friendly this serves our community better than selling out to a large co operative. Our new ownership structure means you will always have a vet that knows you and your pet as if they were part of the family. We’re here to help dogs, cats and other family pets to live long, happy lives. Our wide experience allows us to offer both primary and urgent care for animals. Services are provided in our purpose built, modern clinic in Belfast, which has an in-house Laboratory, Radiography, Endoscope, Ultrasound Scanning and state of the art surgical suites.

Over the last month we have had a Veterinary Student Barbora from the Czech Republic here for an internship and some of our clients may have met her during consults at the clinic. This little one was found on Channing Street, Castlereagh Road this morning. The dog is chipped but sadly it is not registered. Quite elderly with distinct features, please share & let us know if you think you know the owner. Proof of ownership will be required upon collection.

We get so excited when puppies come in to visit us at the clinic. These are a few we've had the pleasure of cuddling over the last week. They were in for vaccines, microchipping and flea & worming treatments.

This little one escaped his carrier yesterday just outside the clinic 😢

We would ask that anyone local could keep an eye out for him.

He lives on grand parade but has not made his way home as of yet unfortunately

*update - the cat is now under the care of vets now on the Belmont road

We have had a neutered male sphynx cat handed into the clinic.
He was found on the bottom of the castlereagh road near the snooker club.
