But remember, Halloween can be a little spooky for our pets, too. Keep sweets, chocolate and other Halloween treats safely out of paw’s reach, and make sure costumes are comfortable and stress-free. 🐾

🐾 It’s the little things that make a big difference! 🐾

Hospital stays can be stressful for our patients, especially when they’re away from the comforts of home for a little longer than expected. That’s why our nursing team goes the extra mile to make sure they receive plenty of love, comfort and TLC alongside their medical care.

A gentle brush, a bit of pampering and some one to one attention can help our inpatients feel more relaxed, settled and comfortable during their stay.

Looking after their emotional wellbeing is just as important as looking after their physical health. These little moments of kindness help break up their day, provide gentle enrichment and make their time with us that little bit brighter.

💚 Because being a vet nurse is about so much more than the medicine we adminsiter. It’s about caring for the whole patient. Lots of love, a little pampering and plenty of tender loving care every step of the way. 💚

🛞🌿 New wheels, greener journeys! 🌿🛞

We’re delighted to welcome two brand new electric vans to the Senlac Veterinary Centre team!

Not only are they helping us reduce our environmental impact and make our journeys a little greener, but both vans have also been fitted with purpose built kennels! 🐾

We’re proud to be investing in more sustainable ways of working while continuing to put the welfare and comfort of our patients first.

Look out for our new vans out and about!

🩶 Meet Smudge! 🩶

Smudge came to visit us for surgery, and we couldn’t resist sharing just how absolutely adorable this little one is! Those gorgeous markings and that sweet little face certainly melted our hearts.

🐾 Senior Pet Wellness Check Up! 🐾

Is your pet 7 or over?
We are rolling out of senior pet clinics, which, for just £36, your pet will have a full nose to tail health check and full testing run on their urine sample. We are also able to run a full screening wellness blood test at a 50% discount!! (Our Pet Health Plan clients will still receive this blood test for free!!).

On Saturday 10th October, one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses, Issy, took on the Kent Downs 50km Ultra Challenge. Issy took on this 31 mile venture to help raise money for veterinary charity Vetlife. This wonderful charity helps support the mental health of our veterinary professionals. So far she has raised £380! What a way to spend your weekend! Well done Issy!

Our pets can make such a difference to our wellbeing, offering companionship, comfort, routine and plenty of reasons to smile. 🐾

Today is a little reminder to look after yourself as well as your pets. Take a moment, get outside together, have a cuddle, and remember that it’s okay to ask for support when you need it. 💙
