Strange things happen in May!! My phone got briefly hacked (switch your Bluetooth off!) and cats wander: it's always in May when, neutered (or not 😡) something pulls at them and off they trot! Happily they always come back: thank you, Milo and Nellie (phew). Lots of love to two cats also that I can't post photos of, due to the oddities of Insta: miss Treacle and miss Kiki. Two SUPER cats! And thank you to Lulu: mad as a brush but soooo beautiful! Almost June and the weather is improving: please don't forget to pull the blinds in the day and to keep those water bowls topped up. Not an easy week this week (don't ask! 🤣) but last week I had THE most fabulous booking: two gorgeous Maine Coone brothers, Mr McMurphy and Norman. These gentle giants are not just stunning but have lovely personalities too. We cuddled and played and played. Really sad to leave them but luckily I drive past their house each day and send loving thoughts to them. THANK YOU boys for being so special! Have a great couple of weeks everyone! ###

Now that is what I call a Happy Cat! Darling Tiggi is laughing! She has only one eye and only three legs, but she is ALWAYS happy and loving. There have been other joyous cats this week. I like to think they respond to the unlimited and unconditional love I have for all the cats I cat sit. Nineteen years this year and NO intention of retiring: I would miss them too much. GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS!! Meet George! In addition to being gorgeous, he has a life limiting illness but is doing REALLY well and has stolen my heart! As have all the other stunning cats these last couple of weeks! I love my job! And now the bad news: as you all know (or can work out), I earn less than the minimum wage: I spend a lot of time with your cats and I cover miles. While I am okay with being poor but happy, I am not okay with not being able to afford to fill my car up with petrol 😭😭. Soooo, I am afraid that cats outside Battle, Catsfield and Robertsbridge will now be subject to a small extra mileage charge until petrol prices (hopefully!) return to normal. Sorry! But I am also sure that you understand my predicament.
And the other good news? It's Roy's birthday on Monday and on 13th and 14th April my work phone will be off. I shall return, refreshed, on Wednesday! Have a great week all! Xx

What a lovely, and busy, couple of weeks and what GLORIOUS sunshine, too! The cats loved it. I have had some real characters: the lovely Django, a house sit, Angus the naughty Devon Rex who has spent each visit on my shoulder like a parrot and the lovely Lemmie, a prize winning Siamese. ❤️ (I love Meezers!).
