Clever Clip Transformation ✨

This gorgeous youngster visited Delta’s Dog Room for a tidy-up groom, and we used what groomers often call a clever clip.

Rather than taking the coat short, we carefully clipped and scissored through the excess puppy coat to neaten everything up while keeping a completely natural look. The aim is to remove the fluffy, uneven baby coat, encourage a smoother adult coat to come through, and leave the dog looking beautifully tidy without it being obvious that any clipping has been done.

The result? A smart, natural finish that still looks like the dog you know and love—just a little more polished! 🐾

We always tailor every groom to the individual dog, their coat type, lifestyle, and what will be best for them long-term.

✨ COCO’S GROOMING TRANSFORMATION ✨

Meet handsome Coco! 🐾

Coco arrived with matting caused by the recent wet and windy weather. Unfortunately, when coats become tightly matted, they can pull on the skin, cause discomfort, trap moisture, and make it impossible to groom humanely without removing the coat.

For Coco’s comfort and welfare, a full shave down was the kindest option. While we always aim to preserve as much coat as possible, a dog’s wellbeing must always come first.

The good news is that hair grows back, and Coco is now feeling much happier, cooler, and far more comfortable. ❤️

He was an absolute star throughout his groom and took everything in his stride. We can’t wait to see him again and help keep his coat in great condition as it grows back.

If you’re worried about knots or matting, especially after all the recent rain and muddy walks, don’t leave it too long. Regular brushing and maintenance appointments can make a huge difference.

Keeping nails short and tidy is one of the simplest ways to help your dog stay comfortable and move properly. Sometimes a quick nail trim can make a bigger difference than people realise! ❤️🐶

Her eyes can now see the world again, her coat has been neatened throughout, and she’s left looking smart, comfortable, and feeling fabulous! ✂️✨
