Meet Nadine Croll MRCVS, our brilliant Veterinary Surgeon!

Nadine joined St Kitts shortly after graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2024, and has been a fantastic addition to our team ever since.

She has a special interest in small furry exotics and British wildlife, and is currently enjoying developing her surgical skills as part of our supportive team.

Outside of work, Nadine loves nothing more than getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors with her family or binging her favourite TV shows. She also shares her home (and garden!) with two cheeky rescue rabbits who keep her thoroughly entertained! 🐰

Has your pet seemed a little… off lately? 🐶🐱

Maybe they’re wandering aimlessly, standing in corners or waking up in the night. These subtle changes could be signs of cognitive dysfunction, a common issue in ageing pets – similar to dementia in humans.

Other signs to look out for include:

🔸 Increased anxiety or restlessness
🔸 Toileting accidents in the house
🔸 Disorientation or getting 'stuck'
🔸 Reduced interest in play or interaction
🔸 Changes in sleep patterns

It’s easy to put these changes down to “just getting old,” but they may be early indicators of a treatable or manageable condition.

That’s where we come in.

🩺 Our Golden Oldies Clinic is designed to give your senior pet the extra attention they deserve. We carry out a complete wellness check, including a urine screen and blood pressure check, and chat through any changes you’ve noticed in their behaviour or routine.

This allows us to spot early warning signs of not just cognitive decline, but also age-related conditions like arthritis, kidney disease or high blood pressure – helping your pet stay happy, comfortable and full of life for as long as possible.

✨ Throughout September ONLY, our senior pet check is just £30 (normally £75) ✨
