I managed a few hours off work this weekend and went on a wee adventure round all the Gamrie Creatives venues. Honestly, what a brilliant wander! Our village is bursting with talent, every stop had something different and I loved having a good nosey at all the amazing pieces from our local artists.

And somehow… I actually won the daily prize giveaway on Saturday! I never win anything 😁. I Picked it up this morning and I’m absolutely delighted, thank you so much to all involved 💙. Photos of the prize don't do it justice and my dog Rusty will really enjoy the bubbles 🐾😊.

I’m back to work now so apologies if I’m a bit slower replying to messages, I promise I’m catching up!

If you haven’t been down to see all the spectacular work yet, there’s still time as venues are open until 4pm today. Perfect excuse for a wee stroll, a nosey, and a photo or two 🎨💙

🐾 Meet Hunter! 🐾
Hunter only lives a mile or two from Gamrie Dog Field now.
He was adopted from Mrs Murray's Home for Stray Dogs and Cats by a lovely family. It’s great to see him finally enjoying life, whether he’s tearing around the field, cooling off in the grass or perfecting his sand pit digging technique 😄
We know there are lots of rescue dogs in our community and we’d love to hear about them.

One of our Gamrie Dog Field customers is looking for either a trusted dog sitter or boarding kennels for his handsome Spaniel.
🐶 Harris
• 2-year-old male Spaniel
• Very friendly and well domesticated
• Can be a bit of a handful on the lead (typical young Spaniel! 😄)
He’s looking for overnight care on:
📅 7th August (1 night)
📅 21st August (1 night)

📣 A wee shout out for Harbucks Cafe 🍰🧁🥮☕
Harbucks is open 2–4pm and 6–9pm most days throughout the summer holidays (excluding Sunday) 😎.
Run entirely by volunteers, the café raises funds for a variety of local charities and community groups. It’s been so well supported this week that the volunteers from The Dreel Hall , Gardenstown Public Hall, who are behind the café this week, have put out a call for donations of home bakes.
If you enjoy baking (or simply fancy supporting a great local cause), every donation is hugely appreciated. ❤️

🚨 Urgent Help Needed – New Byth Area 🚨

I’m reaching out to my wonderful community for support during a difficult time. One of my customers is currently dealing with a sudden health crisis and needs some immediate help with her two dogs.

She would be incredibly grateful for anyone who might be able to:🐾 Pop in to feed them🐾 Let them out for the toilet🐾 Spend a little time with them

If you’re able to help a bit more, I’m also offering free sessions at my dog field for anyone willing to take her dogs there for a proper walk and exercise.

This is a temporary situation, and any support—even small—would mean the world while she gets back on her feet.
