We’re looking forward to seeing lots of our wonderful clients at Bloxham Steam Rally this weekend! ☀️🚜

Following the organisers’ advice, and because of the extreme heat forecast, we kindly ask that you please do not bring your dogs on Saturday. Their welfare is always our top priority, and the temperatures are simply too high for them to be out enjoying the event safely.

We hope you’ll still come along and say hello—we’d love to see you! Thank you for helping to keep your four-legged friends safe in the heat. 💙🐾

⚠️☀️ Important updates due to weather conditions ☀️⚠️

Due to the high temperatures, we have made the obvious decision to cancel this year’s Dog Show. The welfare of the dogs must come first, and the conditions are simply too hot for them to participate safely. The Dog Show is usually Food Fairies’ biggest fundraising event, but they will still be joining us with a stall on the day. Please stop by and show your support so they can continue raising valuable funds for their organisation. Thank you for your understanding and support. 🐶💛

We are also strongly advising visitors not to bring their pets to the show this weekend. Although temperatures are expected to be lower than earlier in the week, they will still be dangerously high for animals, and there is very little shade available on the showground.

Hook Norton Brewery has also made the sensible decision not to bring the Shire Horses on Saturday. As a result, they will not be performing in the Main Arena at 12:00pm as originally planned. We are hopeful they will be with us on Sunday, subject to weather conditions on the day.

We appreciate your understanding regarding these changes. The welfare of all animals is our top priority. In line with guidance from the RSPCA, we strongly encourage everyone to make sensible decisions and keep their pets safe in these conditions.
