We know that school holidays can mean juggling family time, pet care, and everything in between—so we’ve made a little change to help make your visits easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
🎨🐶 Introducing our kids’ corner! 🐶🎨
We’ve created a small, dedicated area in the practice where children can relax, play, and get creative while you focus on your pet’s appointment. With colouring, drawing, and a few fun activities, we hope it keeps little hands busy and big smiles on faces.
We’re always happy to see families come in together—after all, pets are part of the family too! 💕
Thank you for trusting us with your furry friends, and we hope this small addition makes your visit just that little bit more comfortable.

Meet Theodore! 🐾
Today we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Theodore, an adorably tiny 8‑week‑old kitten who came in for his very first health check—and safe to say, he stole all of our hearts within minutes 💛
From the moment he arrived, Theodore made it clear he wasn’t going to be shy about showing off his personality. He was full of cheeky energy, happily exploring his surroundings, batting at anything that moved (including a few unsuspecting staff members glasses!), and keeping us all smiling the entire time 😸
Despite his playful mischief, Theodore also had a very sweet side. He loved a good cuddle, happily snuggling into our arms and purring away like a tiny engine. It didn’t take long for him to win over every member of the team—he’s definitely left a lasting impression here at the practice 🐱💕
We’re delighted to report that Theodore passed his health check with flying colours and is off to a great start in life! We’re already looking forward to seeing him grow (and cause a little more mischief) at his future visits 🐾

🎉🐾 Ziggi turns 100… in dog years! 🐶💯

We were delighted to celebrate this incredible milestone with Ziggi and his owner, who threw him an amazing Century Party to mark the occasion! 🥳🎂

There were plenty of treats, cuddles, and tail wags as we celebrated one very special pup reaching “100 dog years.” ❤️

Happy Century Birthday, Ziggi — here’s to many more happy, healthy adventures ahead! 🐕✨

Good afternoon!

Meet this weeks winners of pet of the week!

This is Lagertha and her sister to Freyja, two small but mighty Lionhead Rabbits 🐇. They are just over 8 years old and have been with us since they were both kits🐾
For their first 5 years they were part of a fluffle with Alan an older Dutch bunny and their sister Primrose. Unfortunately over the last two years we lost Alan and Primrose and now it’s just the two of them.
Lagertha is also know as Tiny, Monster, Doogle and Lady baby! Freyja has some nicknames too including Freyja Buntoss, Chunky, Lady Fluff and Chunkasaurus floof.
Recently Lagertha developed a growth on her chest and the team at Bamber Bridge Were able to take care of her and set her on the road to recovery. General Anaesthetic is a big risk for bunnies and while both have them have had some past experience going under we always worry like mad but she came through with flying colours and a very funky green bodysuit!
They are house bunnies and absolutely spoilt by the servant humans, living their best lives!

🚨 CUTENESS OVERLOAD ALERT 🚨
Look who we had the pleasure of meeting today! This is 14-week-old Milo, a stunning Ragdoll kitten coming in for his very first official health check here at bamber bridge 🐾💖
As a vet, I can tell you that this breed absolutely lives up to its name—Milo went completely "ragdoll" (limp and relaxed) while I gave him a nose-to-tail exam! 🥰
What we did today for our little friend:
✅ Thorough Exam: Checked heart/lungs (all clear), teeth, ears, and those stunning blue eyes.
✅ Weight Check: Milo is growing beautifully at 2.33 kg!
✅ Parasite Prevention: Discussed keeping him free of fleas and worms.
✅ Milestones: Discussed nutrition for growth and planning for his neuter at 6 months.
Milo is healthy, happy, and so sweet. Welcome to the medivet bamber bridge family, little one! We can’t wait to watch you grow into a majestic fluffy giant! 👑

Good morning everypawdy meet Lucy 😻- a long standing client of ours 🥰

A little bit about Lucy -

Lucy has been visiting Medivet bamber bridge since being a little kitten.

She’s turning sweet Sixteen on the 6th May.

She’s an affectionate, confident, feisty, headstrong & independent little diva

Her likes are sunbathing in the glorious sunshine, playing like she’s still a little kitten, human contact & lots of cuddles.

She remains in good health in her golden years 🐾long may it continue 🫶
