Dogs Can Do

02/11/2026

Was just a normal Sunday at Dogs Can Do, Midge barked her way in but then did some good work, Bodhi was a star as always, Benny finally achieved a down in class (he worries!), Rudy tried hard not to chew his dad quite so much and Caoimhin did a superb stop the dog as he works towards his APDT Intermediate award. Then in came Obi for a one to one and he smashed it! What a brainy little furry caterpillar!

So proud of Archie, he passed his APDT Advanced award yesterday, very well done! Joined Dogs Can Do as a puppy back during covid and always puts his all into learning even when he doesn't feel very brave about it.

Photo is a pup from a few years ago, I do often wonder about the pups that just do Foundation and then I never see them again, do they go on to do great things?

Last Sunday Rudy passed his RKC Puppy Foundation, well done! He's grown a lot since he started classes.

NOT a dog but she needs help, please share for her to find her new people!
This young lady (approx 11 months old) was dumped and left to fend for herself at a local beauty spot. This was during the very hot dry weather and she didn't cope very well and was very very thin when she finally allowed herself to be helped. She has now been neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated and is looking for a human she can trust to care for her for possibly the next 15 to 20 years. She is very affectionate but also very intelligent. Potential adopter needs to agree to a homecheck and vet reference would be helpful. A donation of £150 towards her vet fees is required. She is still slim but has been gaining weight steadily. Lancashire/West Yorkshire border, UK.
