Pooch, Potter and Pets is a dog walking and pet sitting service based in the Britannia, Bacup and Stacksteads and surrounding areas, focusing on outdoor adventures with local pooches and holiday care for small animals. My name is Katie and it's my mission to provide a safe, trusting, and reliable service to pets whilst their owner is at work or on holiday. Allowing owners to have peace of mind abo

ut their furry friend. I will create a positive relationship with your pet and work in partnership with owners to provide the best and most tailored care for your pet. I have completed courses in dog walking, pet sitting and basic animal care and hold an enhanced DBS and appropriate insurance. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments of dogs including toy size dogs with big personalities, medium 'vocal' dogs, herding dogs, nervous dogs that need extra support and gentle giants. I have experience with owning and looking after Cats, Rabbits and Guinea pigs. My pooch pack includes my husband, three children, one border collie, two Guinea pigs and a fish.

Bacup has been like a tropical island over the last two weeks from storms last week to heat waves this week. Its been a race against time getting my pooch groups out before mr sun 😂.
Thank you to the owners for your understanding on some walk cancellations as it was just too hot on Wednesday and the pooches wellbeing is my main priority. 🥵

Holiday season has begun which means I get lots of cuddles with 12 kittys . It has been a pleasure to look after you all and so heart walming when the more timid of the group, Donut, builds their trust with you and the more confident of the kitty crew jumps on you back for more attention whilst im tiding up🤣. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾😺

A huge welcome to the newest member of the Pooch, Potter and Pets . ROXY . Look at those pearly whites. It looks like she is doing cheese for the camera😍.
Roxy did amazing on her first session . Benji and poppy looked after her very well and made Roxy feel happy on her first group walk . Well done Roxy look forward to seeing you next week. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

It's been a slightly different week due to the heat . The pups have been enjoying their walks, whilst staying as calm and cool as possible in wooded areas, streams then moving on to house visits when the temperature got too hot for their little paws.
You know the climate has heated up when even Ralph takes a dip in the water 🤣
