Pooch, Potter and Pets is a dog walking and pet sitting service based in the Britannia, Bacup and Stacksteads and surrounding areas, focusing on outdoor adventures with local pooches and holiday care for small animals. My name is Katie and it's my mission to provide a safe, trusting, and reliable service to pets whilst their owner is at work or on holiday. Allowing owners to have peace of mind abo

ut their furry friend. I will create a positive relationship with your pet and work in partnership with owners to provide the best and most tailored care for your pet. I have completed courses in dog walking, pet sitting and basic animal care and hold an enhanced DBS and appropriate insurance. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments of dogs including toy size dogs with big personalities, medium 'vocal' dogs, herding dogs, nervous dogs that need extra support and gentle giants. I have experience with owning and looking after Cats, Rabbits and Guinea pigs. My pooch pack includes my husband, three children, one border collie, two Guinea pigs and a fish.

July has been the busiest holiday season on record with super early starts and evening finishes . I wish to thank you all very much for keeping me busy 🙏

People often say to me, when i say i look after cats.

Do you walk the cats?
🤣 eeerm nope

🐾In a multiple cat household you need to make sure each kitty is getting full tummies, some wet food some prefer dry
🐾Clean litter trays
🐾Tidy kitty areas
🐾Hygiene routine with bowls and water
🐾Safety checks of house
🐾Parcel deliveries
🐾Play with kitties
🐾Basic health checks of the cats
🐾Stress about indoor/outdoor . That each cat is safe when you are not there.🙃
🐾 Get to know each cat, respect each cats boundaries, some cats will like to be given space and some cats you will literally wear on the visit 🤣
🐾Give regular updates to make sure their owners enjoy their holiday knowing they are being well looked after but .....
🐾Most of all... love them❤️

Its set to be a hot hot week..I will take it day by day hour by hour for pups safety. Once the temperature reaches unsafe i will switch to toilet breaks . All dogs on early walks and toilet breaks will be transported in air conditioned car in shaded woods, tunnels and near streams so i can be assured we all stay cool.
