Congratulations IAN!

After a long career from trainee gardener to Team leader, it's time for our IAN to step away from the desk and RETIRE.
..well, retired from paid employment at least, Ian's exciting second career at WAG AND RUN continues:

Implementer to Carols "oh I have an idea"!

That's WAG AND RUN 5 years old now 🥳

Thankyou to all our lovely visitors for using us over the past 5 years 😘

In that time we have grown in adding our PLAYPARK.
"Wag and Picnic" has had a face lift and a wee temporary change for the summer.
"Wag and Woods" is now getting gutted for a new area.😉.

Thankyou again for all your support and amazing comments over the years. We really appreciate it.

Here is to a nice long warm summer 🙏🍷🐾

Been a wee while but Answers to recent questions;

🌳We were asked about our environmental impact. We try to be environmentally aware here at Wag and Run. We primarily use an electric lawnmower powered by our solar panels. Our big equipment (walk overs and sea saw) are made from recycled plastic). We also repurpose where we can i.e. the field shed.

💳We were also asked about our prices. They have remained the same since we started. £6 1-3 dogs for 25 min. £9 for 4-6 dogs for 25 min. £10 for 1-3 dogs for 55min and £12 for 4-6 dogs for 55 min. The play park is £10 1-3 dogs for 45 min or £12 for 4-6 dogs for 45 min. We will do what we can to prevent having to add to costs. We already appreciate people's fuel prices going up just to get here.

🎈Yes we can have party groups by prior appointment. We have had many parties here. If booking 2-3 hours then of course you stay in between bookings esp asked of the playpark as we have a 15 min buffer between bookings- so you get far more time. The playpark is ideal for this having the kitchenette and loo. More parking can be made available at the house.

🪏Sorry we don't allow digging in the field. We have had diggers dig outwith the sandpit and it's a real nuisance and can be dangerous for other visitors. With no time between bookings to fill in holes it is easier to ask those with diggers to prevent digging on the grass areas. Thankyou

WORKS

Recent visitors will notice a wee change to Wag and Picnic. We thought we would add something a bit fun for the little dogs for now. Any pictures would be gratefully received if you don't mind sharing.

Wag and woods will also be getting a makeover. Works will start in the summer to convert it. So the bigger dogs won't miss out. I have started removing the old base already.

With regards to the paw wall in the bothy; Should we expand on it? Eventually once we get the ceiling done I'd like to freshen it all up, but seems a shame to paint over the paws. 🐾

We closed this morning thinking storm "Dave" would still be here. The snow has stopped, the sun is out so we are again OPEN.
I'd recommend the playpark as there has been a lot of rain..

Payment Update

From now on we’ll be accepting card payments only for online bookings, so PayPal will no longer be available. We’ve made this change to reduce fees and keep our prices as they are.

All major cards are accepted and booking works exactly the same as before. Thanks for your understanding and continued support 🐶
