Marvin came in for his post-op check following his castrate procedure - and we have to say he was rocking his recovery outfit! 💚🐾

Instead of a traditional cone, Marvin was wearing a pet recovery t-shirt, which can be a really helpful option for some dogs after surgery. These shirts help protect the surgical site from licking and scratching while allowing pets to stay comfortable, calm and move around easily. 🩺💚

That's why we do everything we can to make every visit as calm, comfortable and stress free as possible. From treats and cuddles to gentle handling, reassurance and plenty of time to settle in.🦴🐾

Here at Woodward vets we are a Gold standard accredited cat friendly clinic 💚🐾

This means we create calm and gentle environments designed to keep our feline patients as relaxed as possible. We have a separate cat waiting area from dogs so we can reduce stress which means a better experience for everyone. 💚

In our consult rooms, we give cats time and space to explore and settle in at their own pace, helping them feel more relaxed and in control of their visit. 🐱

They’re caregivers, technicians, educators, counsellors, and calm voices in stressful moments — often all before lunch.

Behind every healthy recovery and every wagging tail is a veterinary nurse making a difference with skill, compassion, and dedication.
