All photos shown are examples only. Designed as the alphabet letter of your pet’s name. Your pet's ceramic bowl is broken and used to create the mosaic design. 3-4 tablespoons of ashes (optional) can be added to the grout to create a beautiful textured stone effect. Finally, your pet's personal items such as their collar, lead, tag, charm, ball, toy etc are added to complete the finished piece. M

Barney was our amazing, quirky, unique moggy who looked like a Russian Blue (but wasn’t!) He lived for 17 years and our family adored him. He had the characteristics of a dog but the ease of a cat! He was a true character and very much part of the family. His end of life was specially arranged to take place at home, and we opted for an individual cremation as we knew we wanted to have something made from his ashes.

Then the family discussions began! We all agreed we wanted something ornamental that could be placed in the home for the family to be able to see every day. Something different and contemporary! We decided we’d like an ornamental standing letter B! The ashes to be incorporated into the grout and mosaic art to be created from broken pieces of Barney’s ceramic pot bowls. We commissioned the work and were all absolutely delighted with the result.

Barney B sits on our kitchen windowsill. The whole family get to see him every day! Aside from the sentimental value, it’s also a quirky piece of art and a great talking piece with friends! I haven’t seen anything else like it and thought how great it would be to make for others and provide the same precious keepsake and joy we receive from ours. So, after lessons learning all things Mosaic I started Memory Mosaics!

Every Memory Mosaic is handmade and lovingly crafted by me. Your Memory Mosaic will be a one-off and totally unique, just like your pet. Incorporating their ashes and precious belongings to cherish forever.
