The Northern Ireland Exotic Sanctuary works tirelessly behind the scenes rescuing and rehabilitating animals that have suffered from neglect, poor care, and abandonment. Lyndsey works around the clock to ensure every animal receives the best possible care, and we are incredibly proud to support such a wonderful cause.

If you would like to help support the sanctuary, we have a donation cash box in store, as well as a donation basket where you can purchase an extra item during your visit and place it in the basket for the animals. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge difference ❤️🦎🐍

Every animal that arrives here at Northern Ireland Exotic Sanctuary deserves their second chance 💚

From neglected or abandoned reptiles, to animals needing urgent veterinary care, specialist heating, lighting, nutritious diets, rehabilitation and safe forever homes; every rescue comes with significant costs. Many of the animals in our care arrive frightened, unwell, underweight or suffering from poor husbandry, and your support helps us give them the care and future they truly deserve.

We rely entirely on the kindness of the public to continue our rescue, rehabilitation and education work. There are several ways you can help make a real difference:

Something special is coming to Reptile Realm 👀

We’ve been working to create these stunning new display tanks, designed to bring a true slice of nature indoors. From the lush greenery to the naturalistic layout, every detail has been carefully put together to create the perfect environment and we honestly think these look amazing!

These beautiful setups will soon become home to our Crested Geckos once the final touches are complete 🦎✨

Hey all 👋

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our big stafffy pup who was 11 years old. This was the reasoning behind the shop closure last night and as you can imagine we are absolutely devastated.

We are just not in the frame of mind right now and will close the shop tonight also.

We hope to be back on Saturday morning all being well but we will see how we feel on this.
